Whale / Dolphin Watching
Whales migrate north to Harvey Bay to calve. Their greatest numbers can be seen during August and September. Best spots for viewing are at the Yamba Lighthouse, Yamba Breakwall, Angourie and Green Point and Lovers Point. The best and easiest way to do a bit of dolphin spotting is a short ferry ride across to Iluka.
